The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Jessi Li is a Brooklyn-based artist whose sculpture examines the human impact on the environment and our greater role in the cosmic scheme. In 2024 Li received support from NYSCA and the Foundation for Contemporary Art. Select exhibitions include: Stone Quarry Art Park, Cazenovia, NY, (forthcoming); The Bunker Artspace, West Palm Beach, FL (2025); Management, NY, NY (2024); Urban Glass Brooklyn, NY (2024,2020); Olympia, NY, NY (2023); Spring/Break, NY, NY (2023); Anonymous Gallery, NY, NY(2022). Li was a visiting scholar at Syracuse University (2024), and an artist in residence at Stone Quarry Art Park (2024-25), Chautauqua School of Art (2020) and Pottery Northwest (2011-13). They hold a MFA from Hunter College (2019), a BA from Bard College at Simon’s Rock (2009), and a post-baccalaureate from VCU School of Art (2014). Li’s work has been published in the New Glass Review, White Hot Magazine and Vogue. Their work is in the collection of Beth Rudin DeWoody.
