The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Yerang Moon(b. 1999) is a Korean interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work explores the emotional and psychological dimensions of human relationships through painting, sculpture, and installation. Positioned between abstraction and figuration, her practice embraces ambiguity and anonymity, using layered materials and repetitive gestures to reflect on memory, identity, and perception.

Moon holds an MFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute and a BFA from Seoul National University. She is a Fulbright Scholar and has received awards from Homiens Art Prize, Moon Geumrye Foundation and Sinyang Cultural Foundation. Her work has been shown in exhibitions across the U.S. and South Korea, including at Pen + Brush (NY, 2025), The IW Gallery (NY, 2025), A Space Gallery (NY, 2025), ARTS 14C (NJ, 2025), Studio In Factory (NY, 2025), One Eyed Studios (NY, 2024), and the Mora Museum of International Art (NJ, 2024). She has participated in residencies at the L.a Studio Residency (PA, 2025) and Cellar Artist Run Residency (NY, 2024), and her work has been featured in Hyperallergic, Tussle, Art Spiel, Canvas Rebel, Bold Journey, and Artsy, among others.
