RESUME

Angel Duran was born and raised in New Jersey, where he currently works. He received his Bachelors in Fine Arts at Rutgers University in 2020 and during his time there, was nominated for the Yale Norfolk Summer Residency, as well as many other awards. Following his graduation, he went on to exhibit his work within various group shows and art fairs throughout the country. In 2021, he founded the artist collective BOKEH, with the goal of providing a platform for under-represented minority artists. Together, they’ve hosted various shows throughout the tri-state area and most recently collaborated with his hometown of Perth Amboy to put forth an exhibition based around the themes of Diaspora.
