The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Christian Vargas (b.1986) is a sculptor who lives in Fresno, CA. He received his MFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his BA from California State University Fresno. Recent solo exhibitions include Valley Fever (2024), Slow Burn (2023) and Can’t Find Shade Under a Lemon Tree (2021) at South Willard. Recent group exhibitions include I’ve Gone to Look for America, murmurs (2023), and South Willard, Gordon Robichaux (2023).
