The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Marco DaSilva is a Brazilian-American multidisciplinary artist whose symbol-based works explore hybridity through the intersections of painting and craft. He received his MFA in Studio Art from CUNY Hunter College in 2025 and earned his BFA in Painting and Drawing from SUNY New Paltz in 2015. DaSilva has exhibited with The Latinx Project at NYU (New York, NY), Beverlys (London, UK), FIERMAN (New York, NY) and has presented solo exhibitions at the Bureau of General Services – Queer Division and Abrons Arts Center (New York, NY). His work has been featured in The New York Times, Hyperallergic and NBC OUT and is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Watson Library. He was awarded the ARTNOIR Artistic Pathways Scholarship (2022) and the Nancy Ashton Memorial Prize (2025). He is based in New York City and his work can be viewed at www.marcodasilva.net.
