Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Andrés Monzón-Aguirre Ortiz (b. 1987 in Medellin, Colombia) is an artist who works between Brooklyn, NY and their native city. Recent solo exhibitions include National College of Arts, Lahore (2024); Stars, Los Angeles (2023), Museo Universitario UdeA, Medellin (2022), and Jeffrey Stark, New York (2021). Their work is in the collections of Museo de Antioquia in Medellin, and RISD Museum in Providence, RI, amongst other institutions. Monzón-Aguirre has received awards and residencies including: National College of Arts in Lahore; NYFA; Prince Claus Fund; the City of Medellin; CSULB; and Fundación Casa Tres Patios. They hold a BFA from RISD (2009) and an MFA from Alfred University (2019).
