The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Nene Aïssatou Diallo is an arts administrator and artist working across mediums. She holds a B.A. in Visual Media and Arts Practices and in Women, Gender, and Sexualities Studies from the University of Richmond. She also attended The Interdisciplinary Art and Theory Program in New York. She has exhibited nationally and held residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, Index Art Center, Gallery Aferro, Project for Empty Space, The Residency Project, and STONELEAF RETREAT. In 2018, she co-founded LAND Collective, a community of Newark-based and affiliated artists and cultural producers collaborating on exhibitions, publications, and programs locally and digitally. Diallo’s work has been featured by Format, Monument Lab Bulletin, NPR, RVA Magazine, The Financial Times, and most recently, at the 13th edition of the Bamako Encounters – African Biennale of Photography.
