Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Bio
Takanori Kurokawa lives in Japan. He started his career in 2006 and spent the first 5 years of his career seeking to develop a style of his own, a style that no one had ever created with glass. Once he had developed his original style, he slowly but surely obtained the chance to join exhibitions and art fairs in Japan, the United States and Europe, as well as stay at an artist-in-residence. After that, he lost his passion for art and moved to France. After living there for four years, he returned to Japan. Then he restarted his artistic career. He now works across a wide range of art works, including 2D art, sculpture and installations made with small pieces of glass.
