Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

BIO
Emily Ginsburg was born in New York, New York. She received her BA in Art History from Trinity College and an MFA in Printmaking from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
She is a multidisciplinary and conceptually driven artist whose work maps the psycho social impact of everyday life through diverse media. The complexity of embodied experience drives her research into how state of body and state of mind are perpetually entangled with media systems and quotidian rituals. Works range from digital print media, sculpture, installation, and painting, to animation and sound.
Her works have been exhibited nationally and internationally and commissioned for public art projects by the state of Washington for Foothills Elementary School, the Seattle Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs for Seattle City Light Seattle, as well as Portland State University, CYAN/PDX, and Modera Buckman in Portland. She has also been awarded various project grants through the Regional Arts and Culture Council, and residencies in Siena, Vermont, Florence, Siena, London, Brazil, and Finland. Projects have been featured in publications such as the Map as Art by Kitty Harman, DATAFLOW by Gestalten, and reviewed in Art Papers, Art US, and The 22 Magazine amongst others. Works have been included in recent group exhibitions at Congress Yard Projects, Eutectic Gallery, and Well Well Projects. An upcoming solo exhibition will be at SE Cooper Contemporary in October 2023.
