Artist Registry

The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

To apply to the Registry, click here. Join our mailing list here to receive our open call announcement and other programming updates. For any further questions about the Registry, please contact us at registry@whitecolumns.org.

RESUME

Working with the body this way I create unpredictable shapes and spaces. It allows for a different kind of exploration into the interplay between light, forms and emotive content.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Camilla Fallon graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art, attended the Skowhegan School, and is an M.F.A. graduate of the Yale University School of Art. In May 2025, Camilla had a solo show in The Project Room at The Painting Center in Chelsea in NYC. Her show was reviewed in Two Coats of Paint. In 2023, Camilla had solo shows at La Guardia Community College in Long Island City, NY, and the Gilbert Gallery at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT, and in 2014 at the University of South Carolina at Etheridge.

The artist has participated in shows at the Hill-Stead Museum, Five Points Gallery in Torrington, CT, The Painting Center, Drawing Rooms in Jersey City, Equity Gallery, The National Arts Club, Denise Bibro Gallery, the Kim Foster Gallery, and others in NYC, as well as the Michael David Gallery, Green Gallery, and the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center in Brooklyn, the Arthur M. Berger Gallery at Manhattanville College, and the Stadtische Galerie in Regensburg, Germany.

Represented in both private and corporate collections, she is included in collections including Yale University and Capital Crossing. Camilla received several artist residencies and fellowships, notably from Yaddo and MacDowell, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Millay Colony.

Camilla’s writing has appeared in Painters on Paintings, Hyperallergic, and New Observations magazine. A long time resident of NYC, Camilla recently relocated to Sharon Connecticut where she lives and works
