The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Bio

Ingrid Syage Tremblay is a French-Canadian/Syrian artist from Montreal, Canada. She holds a MFA in Sculpture & Extended Media from the University of Texas at Austin (USA) where she received the Graduate School Recruitment Fellowship and the Quebec Research Fund Fellowship among numerous awards. Her recent exhibitions include: Grand Palais Éphémère (Paris, France), Apexart (New York, USA), CIRCA art contemporain (Montreal, Canada), Chiguer art contemporain (Quebec, Canada), Agnes Etherington Art Center (Kingston Canada), Center Skol (Montreal, Canada). She has been an artist in residence at Est-Nord-Est (Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec), at NARS Foundation (New York, USA), at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center (Vermont, USA) and at Djerassi (California). , USA), ACRE (Wisconsin, USA) and at the Vermont Studio Center (Vermont, USA). She was also a recipient of the prestigious VCUarts Fountainhead Fellowship in Sculpture. Her work is recognized and supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Quebec Council for the Arts.
