Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Artist’s Bio
Shelley Turley was born in a small town on the eastern edge of Arizona. She has since lived in Yuma, Arizona, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Brooklyn, New York. She received a BFA from the University of Utah. Currently, she lives and works in Portland, where the trees, clouds and Oregon's history of hippies, gurus, and explorers have all influenced her work. Shelley had her breakout show at Holding Contemporary in 2021, and has most recently had shows with Helen's Costume in Portland.
