The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Anthony's art is powerful with bold use of color. He favors oils as his primary medium and produces extraordinary and unique portraits. Anthony studied at the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia and also studied illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He has been a featured artist in a private exhibition at LandAir Gallery in New York City. He has one man shows at Jadite Gallery, Chashama and was featured in a group exhibit at Cuchifritos, and the Deshong Museum of Art in Chester, PA, the Art and Culture Center in Brooklyn, and NYU's 2008 Small Works Exhibition. Fountain House Gallery has presented Anthony's work in the two-person show Urban Faces and the three-person show Body Language. His work was included in an exhibition at the Educational and Research Center of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Also a recipient of the City Art's Corp Grant 2021.
