Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Martin Miller is a New York based sculptor, and received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Utilizing concrete as a primary material, as well as various other 'dumb' materials, he seeks to explore the relationship between the body and urban space, focusing specifically on the ways in which architecture and infrastructure produce and exert psychophysiological responses within those enclosed: to be entombed forever within the endless mall. Within this framework, his sculptures co-opt tactics that manipulate mass and space to convey chance/chaos- the energies of architecture and infrastructure localized.
