Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

BIO
T-Bone (Thomas Muniz) is a conceptual artist based in Putnam County, NY whose work explores the entanglement of technology, media, and human experience. Using e‑waste, tangled wires, moving images, and video screens, he creates sculptural environments that evoke both media overload and a post-apocalyptic, sci‑fi sensibility—like falling into a rabbit hole of conflicting information and sensory chatter.
A graduate of the School of Visual Arts (BA) and the College of New Rochelle (MS), T-Bone is a retired art educator and former union officer with the Yonkers Public Schools, where he championed creativity and advocacy for over three decades. His creative practice has also been shaped by years as a tattoo artist and freelance designer, as well as formative experiences studying under Jannis Kounellis and Encho Cuchi in Urbino, Italy, which led him to embrace discarded, everyday materials as vessels of meaning.
Coming of age in New York’s East Village during the AIDS crisis profoundly influenced his creative voice, forging an artistic sensibility rooted in confronting pressing social and political realities. Whether addressing media addiction, algorithmic decision-making, or the pervasive cultural anxieties around AI, T-Bone’s work throws viewers into the center of today’s most urgent conversations. What emerges is less resolution than a lingering tension between overload and awareness.
