Artist Registry

The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Patrick Carlin Mohundro is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He holds an MFA from Hunter College (2019) and lives and works in New York. Through an idiosyncratic toolkit of materials, Mohundro explores the notion of pathetic abstraction, or feeling past his ideas. He has lived and conducted projects in Mozambique, North and South Korea, South Africa, Colombia, and the Atlantic Ocean and is the founder of P.A.D. (Project Art Distribution), an art exhibition space in historic SOHO (South of Houston) District in New York City aimed to platform small and editioned works by artists interested in exploring new contexts for exhibiting.
