Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Kyle Orlando is a self-taught artist based in Jersey City, New Jersey, working primarily in painting and drawing. His current body of work deepens his exploration of recurring cheetah figures, expanding a visual language that has previously included screaming cheetahs, car wrecks, and cowboys. Often incorporating found objects, canvas, and layered compositions, Orlando’s works blur the boundaries between painting, drawing, and collage, forming dynamic, emotionally charged hybrids.
Rooted in personal experiences of anxiety, depression, and the alienation of exclusivity, his imagery functions as both a cathartic release and an open invitation for viewer interpretation. Whether through visceral iconography or chaotic assemblages of cheetah limbs and intertwined vehicles, Orlando creates a raw visual narrative that speaks to the complexities of internal struggle and identity. His evolving practice invites audiences to project their own meanings while navigating the emotional terrain embedded in each piece.
