The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Fabio de Faria is a Brazilian-American painter who has been living and working in Chicago, IL for 10 years. He was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil where he received his BFA from FAAP - Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado. In 1999 he started representation with Galeria Thomas Cohn in São Paulo where he had a solo show in 2000. His work has been part of group shows across Brazil, including III Bienal Mercosul and Rumos da Nova Arte Contemporânea.
