The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

BIO  

Kim's mixed media paintings and sculptures have been featured in numerous exhibitions, including AIM 24 at The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Dorsky Gallery and White Box in New York. Her residencies include those at the Blackburn Printmaking Workshop Fellowship, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, the McColl Center and the Henry Street Settlement among others. Her work, shown across the globe, may also be found in the Deutsche Bank Art Collection. The artist was born in Seoul, Korea and currently lives and works in Brooklyn. She studied at Seoul National University and received her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
