Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Sujin Lee works with text, video, film, and performance, presenting a process of investigating, negotiating, and performing the space between her and the language(s) she uses. She was awarded artist residencies from the Millay Colony for the Arts, Blue Mountain Center, I-Park, Newark Museum, Zarya Center for Contemporary Art, Art Kommunalka, and 'ace PIRAR. She participated in the Artist in the Marketplace program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts and the Emerge Program at Aljira. She is a recipient of the A.I.R. Gallery Fellowship (2012-2013), SeMA Emerging Artist & Curators Program grant (2016), and Wumin Art Award (2018). She has shown her works at venues including MMCA Film & Video, Seoul, Korea; Arko Art Center, Seoul, Korea; Kumho Art Museum, Seoul, Korea; Queens Museum, Queens, NY; A.I.R. Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Aljira, Newark, NJ; Mandeville Gallery at Union College, Schenectady, NY; Cake Gallery, Seoul, Korea; NURTUREart, Brooklyn, NY; Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Brooklyn, NY; and The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Bronx, NY. Lee holds a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. She also has an MFA in Studio Art and an MA in Performance Studies, both from New York University.
