Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Candle and Heartbeat.
2022This work brings together a video recording captured on Hi8 footage in St. Stephens Cathedral in Vienna, Austria, along with a sound recording made by the artist of her heartbeat with a DIY stethoscope micriphone. Executed with single takes, both files possess a slight unsteadiness, reminding us of her body’s presence. The imagery of a solitary burning candle references a common religious practice of remembering those who have passed. As the minimal and soft flame flickers, and the low decibel of her heartbeat pulses, Quinn intends to evoke contemplation of the present, our bodies, and our mortality. *First edition has been formatted for projection mapping on Meiji Jingu Gaien Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery in Tokyo, Japan for 1-minute projection mapping program 『 LIFE / 命・暮らし・人生 』.

Five Twenty-Four a.m.
2022This video work brings together repeated exceprts from a video shot by the artist during an overnight stay at the hospital in the Spring of 2022. The same brief moment of time is repeated, with slight variances, punctuated by the sound of both the hearrate monitor and the insitutional wall clock.
