Artist Registry


The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Mary Bucci McCoy has had solo and group exhibitions in venues including Marquee Projects, Bellport, NY; Key Projects, Long Island City, NY; The Curator Gallery, New York, NY; Gray Contemporary, Houston, TX;  Museum St. Wendel, St. Wendel, Germany; boeckercontemporary, Heidelberg, Germany; CG2 Gallery, Nashville, TN; Artists Foundation, Boston, MA; Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, MA; Jane Deering Gallery, Gloucester, MA;  Rhode Island College, Providence, RI; AG Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Philadelphia, PA; and Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, NH.


She has done residencies at The Studios at MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA and the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, VT and has been the recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Council Painting Fellowship, Faculty Development Awards from Montserrat College of Art and a merit-based residency grant from the Vermont Studio Center. Her exhibitions have been reviewed by publications including Visual Art Source, Art New England, The Boston Globe, and The Providence Phoenix.
 

Mary holds a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University and a BA in English from Tufts University. She also studied ceramic sculpture at l'Ecole Superieure d'Arts Appliques in Geneva, Switzerland. She was born in New Jersey, grew up in the Philadelphia area, and is currently lives and has her studio on the coast north of Boston.
