The White Columns Curated Artist Registry
is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My practice is underpinned by an interest in the ways ideas are presented, and how the context of the space itself can be used to examine the complexities of how meaning is attached to artworks.
The work is primarily informed through collecting found images and objects. Drawing on the history of art and design, various mediums are used to explore ideas around production, value and meaning, in order to reinterpret past narratives as material. I seek to highlight the structures of context, and how technology alters our experience and use of objects.
