The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

ARTIST’S BIOGRAPHY

Emma Gerigscott received her M.F.A. from the Oregon College of Art and Craft in 2018. Before moving to Portland she studied at Goshen College in Goshen, IN where she was born and raised. Emma grew up riding horses and raising ducks and goats, and currently lives with her old farm dog, Pi, two hairless guinea pigs, Buckets and Opal, and her human partner. She has shown work and illustrated for a variety of publications since receiving her B.A. in 2014. Emma lives and works in Portland, OR.
