The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Habby Osk is a Brooklyn-based artist from Akureyri, Iceland. Habby works in a wide range of medium such as sculpture, installation, photography and video. She has had nine solo exhibitions in New York and Iceland including two museum exhibitions, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions around the world including Grimmuseum (Berlin, Germany), Tina Kim Gallery (New York, US), Soho20 (New York, US), Betonsalon (Paris, France), Re:Rotterdam Art Fair (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) and International Art Contemporary Festival (Kowloon, Hong Kong). Habby is a four time recipient of the prestigious Artists’ Salaries from the Icelandic Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Artist in Residencies include Hafnarborg Museum Artist in Residence (Hafnarfjörður, Iceland), Vermont Studio Center (Vermont, US) and P142 - Artist in Residency (Berlin, Germany). Habby holds a MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a BFA in Fine Arts from the AKI ArtEz University of the Arts in The Netherlands. Habby is currently a resident at International Curatorial & Studio Program (ISCP) in New York
