The White Columns Curated Artist Registry
is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
The work that I do as an artist focuses on labour, making and the worth of what we do — each of us — as individuals and citizens. Working mainly in sculpture, I have spent the last fifteen years experimenting with a wide range of materials and forms. This broad approach to making has taught me the value of the skills and domain-specific knowledge that any mode of production requires. Furthermore, it has allowed me to come to understand that special, liminal place between amateur and expert on the path of learning; that potent moment when creativity is not yet limited by the established constraints of a process. As a result, I often look for opportunities to explore new materials and modes of making as a way of generating project ideas.
