The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
I draw every day for as long as possible.
It is catharsis.
I can communicate things that I have a hard time speaking about. Sometimes the work is political, sometimes it is personal, sometimes dark, sometimes funny, but most often the drawings represent surreal daydreams open to interpretation.
I know I would be considered an outsider artist as a woman who started drawing in her sixties with no art training, but many people have encouraged me to keep going.
