Talon Gustafson makes work that is concerned with the American domestic environment; it's relationship to contemporary art, advertising and popular culture. He references DIY home decoration, home storage, commercial window displays, and popular advertising language to create installations, paintings, collages, videos, and sculpture.

Talon received his M.F.A. from the Cranbrook Academy of Art (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan) in 2010 and his B.F.A. from Minneapolis College of Art and Design (Minneapolis, Minnestoa) in 2000. Additionally, he attended the Rhode Island School of Design from 2006 to 2008.

He lives and works in New York City.
