Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.

But even a doodle ought not to be mistaken for a product of pure automatism. Automatic drawing by a person who is wide-awake inevitably absorbs into itself some degree of imitation and judgment. If the doodler is an artist, his image-forming will draw upon the whole range of his experience of art. Moreover, the longer one works on a doodle the more one sees in it and more possibilities arise for conscious intervention.
