Jovan Karlo Villalba

Jovan Karlo Villalba (b.1977. Quito, Ecuador) was raised in Miami, Florida. He is an alumnus of New World School of the Arts. Upon graduation, he was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to attend the Cooper Union School of Art in New York City. Soon after graduating from Cooper, he acquired an art studio in the Chelsea Art District in New York City. Since then, Villalba has exhibited his work at museums, galleries, and art institutions across the United States including at solo shows in Los Angeles, Miami and New York City. Currently, his work is on view at the Denver Art Museum in "Audacious: Contemporary Artists Speak Out".
