The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Nicole Arendt is a Brooklyn based artist who works in sculpture, photography video and drawing. She graduated with her B.A.,Cum laude, in Arts and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1999 and earned her M.F.A. from Tufts University/The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2005. She has exhibited domestically in New York City, Dallas and Boston as well as internationally in England, South Korea, Australia. She has taught video classes at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and photography classes at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently working as a Teaching Artist in NYC and serves as Membership Director for the Gowanus Studio Space in Brooklyn.
