The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Mira Putnam completed her BFA in Painting at Rhode Island School of Design in 2013. Upon graduation, she moved to New York where she worked under Paul Johnson as Gallery Director of Johnson Trading Gallery, and with designer Katie Stout on Bjarne Melgaard's 2014 Whitney Biennial installation Think I’m Gonna Have A Baby. She has exhibited in both Providence and New York, and recently completed a residency at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts. Currently, she is living and working in Brooklyn, both in her own studio and on the outdoor summer programming at The Hollows.
