The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.

Phillip Scarpone has exhibited nationally and internationally in cities such as Washington, DC; New York, NY; Brooklyn, NY; Austin, TX; Philadelphia, PA; Atlanta, GA; Richmond, VA; St. Louis, MO; Denver, CO; Pittsburgh, PA; Baltimore, MD, and Taipei, Taiwan. He is a recipient of awards and honors including an NEA Established Professional Fellowship in Sculpture through the Delaware Division of the Arts, an Art at the Frontier Grant through Frank Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry, Chestnut Hill Public Art grant, Miami University Young Sculptors Competition Finalist, and Dave Bown Projects 9th International Competition Finalist.  His work has been reviewed by Philadelphia Weekly Newspaper, The Knight Foundation, The Philadelphia Artblog, and Seraphin Gallery Publications. He is represented by Seraphin Gallery; Philadelphia, PA. Phillip Scarpone received his MFA with distinction from The University of Georgia, Lamar Dodd School of Art, a BFA from the University of Delaware.  Scarpone currently works and teaches sculpture at Carnegie Mellon University, School of Art in Pittsburgh, PA.
