The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Edward received a BFA and a BA in philosophy from the University of New Orleans, an MFA from Pratt Institute, and was a studio resident in the Whitney Independent Study Program. He has been a resident artist in Croatia through Art in General's Eastern European Residency Exchange Program, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Swingspace program, and an inaugural resident with Residency Unlimited. He has received grants and awards from the Fractured Atlas Group Development grant, the New York Foundation for the Arts Artist Fellowship, and the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant. He was recently awarded an Emerging Artist Fellowship from Socrates Sculpture Park as well as a Fellowship at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop. Edward has exhibited at Southfirst in Brooklyn, NY and has exhibited in various group exhibitions, including Barbara Davis Gallery, Houston, TX; Shoshana Wayne Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw, Poland; The National Museum and Art Gallery, Gaborone, Botswana; and the 3rd Guangzhou Triennial, Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangzhou, China. Edward is based out of Brooklyn, NY.
