The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Amy Kligman grew up in New Washington, IN, and currently maintains life and practice in Kansas City, MO. Amy's studio pursuits focus primarily in painting, but sometimes explores installation and sculptural works as well. Amy's work has shown nationally in group and solo exhibitions over the past ten years, and has been chosen for numerous awards and juried exhibitions. Her work was featured in New American Paintings (Midwestern Issue #101). She has been a recipient of the Charlotte Street Foundation Award Fellowship, a Rocket Grant (funded by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Arts, granted by the Charlotte Street Foundation and Spencer Museum of Art), an ArtskC Inspiration grant, a MissouriBank Artboard commission, and her work is in the permanent collection of the Nerman Museum of Art.
