The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Ryan Sarah Murphy is a visual artist living and working in New York. Her collage-based work is process-driven and incorporates the use of found and repurposed materials. Awards and residencies include The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Studio Program (2012-2014), a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship Grant (2014) and an I-Park Foundation Fellowship (2016). Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across the US including ODETTA Gallery (Brooklyn), Platform Gallery (Seattle), Lesley Heller Workspace (NY), Mixed Greens (NY), Liliana Bloch Gallery (Dallas), and The Holter Museum of Art (Montana). Ryan received her BFA in Sculpture from the School of Visual Arts.
