Artist Registry

The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

1 minute excerpt. I walk in nine contrasting environments: up a hill of volcanic rock, on a playa, across a salt bed, atop a sand dune, along a mountain trail, and through canyons. Mostly I walk; occasionally I stop. I pick up items off the ground, fall down, and on occasion show the viewer where I am by tilting the camera upward to the horizon.
