Artist Registry

The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Life Mask VI, His Face Was Only A Memory of His Former Face

2015
A collaborative video with artist Shaun Roberts, This is a video continuing with ideas of control, surrender, life and death, I put clay on my face and sculpted it blindly. The video depicts a shifting image and evolving sense of self; while, the fixed object, a cast of a living face, will transfer life’s energy at death.
