The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Erica Love is an artist living in New York City. Since 2009 she has collaborated with João Enxuto on projects that focus on the art field, its systems of valuation, and the datalogical structure of exhibition spaces, institutions, and built environments. She holds BAs from Brown University in Economics and Visual Arts, an MFA in New Genres from UCLA, and was a fellow at the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program for 2012-2013. She has given talks and exhibited at the Whitney Museum of Art, the New Museum, Anthology Film Archives, Yossi Milo Gallery, Carriage Trade, Louisiana Museum in Denmark, and the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City. Their writing has appeared in Wired Magazine, Mousse Contemporary Art Magazine, X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly, and Initiales. Most recently she co-founded the Institute for Southern Contemporary Art (ISCA), an experimental platform that uses machine learning to extract capital from the art market to fund critical practices.
