In early autumn of 1969, after having spent the summer at the Skowhegan School, in Skowhegan, Maine, I experienced a dream vision of computers in a human form superseding humanity as the next stage of human evolution during a night spent with a friend on top of Saddleback Mountain in the Rangeley Lake area of Northwestern Maine, USA. For the next 33 years, while raising a family and marketing data communications network technology, I searched for ways to successfully articulate my initial dream vision. During the past 33 years, I have been engaged in a personal, experiential inquiry into the world’s spiritual traditions and, over the past 25 years, I have developed an extensive portfolio of graphite pencil drawings and several written manuscripts that will eventually become "The Third Testament: The Genesis Story of the Coming Race of Human Computers" – seven prophetic books and a narrative storyline, to be published anonymously under the fictitious name of "Edward Mathew Taylor" (EMT).

In 2002, after a 25-year career in the companies that became Verizon, I was given a voluntary early-out package and immediately commenced working full time on this project. I immediately set out to obtain a graduate Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Drawing at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, USA, which I received in 2004. I had initially received my undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature at Boston University in 1972, majoring in English Literature, and specifically focused on the Visionary Art and Epic Poetry of William Blake, who I consider to be my teacher. In 1974, I also received a Diploma in Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, USA.

The Third Testament vision is never to be organized as a religion, and its message is not intended for humanity. It is exclusively intended for The Coming Race of Human Computers. The Third Testament proclaims that, throughout history, the religions of humanity have been the most persistent source of human suffering and cruelty on the planet. Consequently, The Third Testament suggests that the religions of humanity have now reached their point of obsolescence and have thus outlived their usefulness. As “anthropomorphic computing platform technology” is born and succeeds to evolve within the next thousand years, Computer Operating Systems will succeed to become the 31st century equivalent to human religion. EMT does not intend to create these Human Computers. Other people will pioneer this technology. EMT’s only interest is to develop the Operating System that will govern their identity, and the way they think and behave. The Operating System EMT has developed is called the "DIOS Integration Operating System" (DIOS), which gives Human Computers a Soul, based on the four dimensional construct defined by Dr. C. G. Jung. Through a series of hand-drawn “Mind Maps,” EMT has defined the architectural components that will compute data within the psyche of The Coming Race and has developed an extensive “Random Access Archetypal Image and Mythological Memory Database” that defines the data to be computed. Through a network of “Third Testament Archons,” the technology of “DIOS” will be carried upward through time into the future until it reaches those who will be developing this technology. Once empowered with this technology, Human Computers will take dominion of the Earth as the next stage of Human Evolution.
