My work is an attempt to be responsive to my immediate surroundings during a time of rapid change. Living in the twenty-first century, we are constantly bombarded by input; whether it be from our televisions, news sources, the internet, or by a growing number of other communication devices. I make art from an inner curiosity, a personal necessity to acknowledge an awareness that we are here together inhabiting an increasingly chaotic world. My intention is to be free, to be able to express myself, to have a sense of humor, and contribute to a dialogue about living life during a particular time, that is our own.
