The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Braxton Congrove attended the Virginia Commonwealth University Summer Studio Program and received her BFA from James Madison University. Congrove has participated in Ox‚ÄźBow School of Art, OFAR artist residency, and the Bread and Puppet Theater apprenticeship program in Glover, VT. She has exhibited at Not Gallery (TX), Virginia Commonwealth University, Lounge Gallery (LA), and Arlington Arts Center for the solos exhibition series. Most recently she was part of A Situation of Meat curated by Julia Greenway at Disjecta Contemporary Art Center (OR). Congrove has upcoming solo exhibitions at Hillyer Art Space (D.C.) and Valet Gallery in Richmond, VA.
