The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Jill Kerwick was born in 1956 in Paterson, NJ, she received her M.A. from NYU in 1995 and her B.F.A. in 1978 from Moore College of Art, Phila. PA. She also studied at the School of Visual Arts with Milton Glaser.
Jill recently had a solo exhibition at the Visual Arts Center in Summit, NJ, "Lipstick & Other Stories".
Recent group shows include, “Masters of Photography”, Espacio 70, Bogota, Colombia; Umbrella Arts, NYC; NY Center for Photographic Arts, NYC; Monmouth Museum 38th Annual Juried Exhibition, Lincroft, NJ; Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, NJ; 2015 PhotoSpiva, Joplin, MO (1st place $1000. Award); Chico Art Center, Chico, CA; Adam Baumgold Gallery, NYC and Blank Gallery, Brighton, England.
Her works are in the public collections of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, the American Water Works Service Co. and the High School of Economics and Finance, NYC.
