The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Anne Vieux is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2012. Her practice consists of flatworks using painting and digital processes, sculptural installation, video, and editioned bookworks. Through abstraction, she explores mediation and the distortion of information using psychedelic and minimalist references. Screensavers, after-images, minimalism, and optics, influence her visual language, drifting from psychedelic to gridded and modular.
