The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online catalog of digital images documenting the work of artists who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City. Each submission is reviewed by our curatorial staff; in order to be considered for the registry, one must submit work digitally via this website.
Becca Albee (b. Portland, ME) currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Recent exhibitions at 356 S. Mission Rd, Los Angeles, CA; Et al., San Francisco, CA; Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; CAM, Raleigh, NC; CUE Art Foundation, New York, NY; and Art in General, Brooklyn, NY. Albee received an MFA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and BA from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. She is a MacDowell Colony fellow, a Yaddo fellow, and has received residencies from the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Fundacion Botin, Blue Mountain Center, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
