Robert Otto Epstein


Robert Otto Epstein studied philosophy and political science at the University of Pittsburgh and law at the University of Durham in the UK. Epstein currently has work in a group show at Mulherin + Pollard and will have a solo exhibition in July at Matteawan Gallery (Beacon, NY). ROE will take part in a group exhibition this September at the Drawing Center (New York). He has shown widely in the US and Europe, namely, Mulherin + Pollard (New York); Ada Gallery (Richmond, VA); Jack Hanley Gallery (New York); Outpost Artist Resources (Ridgewood, NY); Voorkamer Gallery (Lier, Belgium); Airplane Gallery (Brooklyn); Kenise Barnes Fine Art (Larchmont, NY); Schema Projects (Brooklyn, NY); Imogen Holloway (Saugerties, NY); Pierogi Gallery (Brooklyn); Parallel Art Space (Brooklyn); Drive-By Projects (Watertown, MA). ROE has been featured in a number of publications, including: L Magazine, Design Sponge, Curating Contemporary, The New Criterion, Brown Paper Bag, Pattern Pulp, Juxtapoz, Little Paper Planes, Make Space, Dwell Studio, Roll Magazine, and Past Present Future. Epstein currently lives and works just outside of New York City.
