Bruno Fazzolari makes paintings and perfumes and also writes articles for on-line and print publications. He has shown with Jancar Jones Gallery, Los Angeles. And has also shown with Feature, Inc., New York; [2nd floor projects] and Gallery Paule Anglim, both in San Francisco; and Michael Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles. His work has been included in shows at the M.H. de Young Museum (SF) and the Katonah Museum of Art (NY) and is in the permanent collection of the Berkeley Art Museum.
His work has received attention in Artforum, Art in America, Art Papers, the New Yorker, the San Francisco Chronicle, Artweek and the New York Times.
Fazzolari teaches at the California College of the Arts (CCA). His writing has appeared at ArtPractical.com and, most recently, in Art in America.
He earned an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1996 after graduating from U.C. Berkeley in Comparative Literature with a focus on critical studies, French and Ancient Greek.
