I was born in Kharkov, the Soviet Union in 1953. During the period 1961 - 1970, I attended an art school and took private lessons in drawing, painting and photography. During 1978 - 1981 I studied at the Art and Technology College in Zagorsk, Moscow region. I brought my family to New York in 1989 and became a U.S. citizen in 1995. All the years of residence in the United States I have been actively engaged in artistic creativity. My activities include painting, drawing, collage, sculpture and photography. During my resident in the U.S. I had over 31 solo exhibitions and I have been involved in over 200 group shows. I am a Member of the Audubon Artists, Silvermine Guild of Artists, the National Collage Society and Sculptors Guild. |
