Denise Prince is a painter, photographer and filmmaker whose work utilizes the language of advertising to suggest narrative. She has exhibited nationally and internationally for twenty years. Prince spent twelve years in LA and NY, where she studied fine art and critical theory at CalArts before returning to Texas. She is known for her permanent installation of photography in the W Hotel lobby as well as for making work that is often provocative in a considerate and substantive way.
